I was born and raised on Kauai and am involved in both the real estate and construction industries. I am the daughter of a contractor, the sister of an astrophysicist and the mother of a college student. My experiences being raised on Kauai and coming from a construction background give me some unique applications to everyday life and business here.

My entire family, made up of Contractors, moved to Kauai in 1969 to help a family member build a house, and never left. My grandfather soon created Blackwell Builders, a prominent General Contractor back then. In addition, he was the founder of Sleeping Giant Realty (now Oceanfront Sotheby’s International Realty) in 1974. My dad, Curtis Law, started his Kauai construction career with my grandfather in the late 60s but soon after Hurricane Iwa happened in 1982, Blackwell Builders retired, and Curtis Law Construction was formed. I have the great pleasure of also working part time for my dad as his OSHA administrator but former duties included estimating and project managing. Visit www.CurtisLawConstruction.com for more info on construction.

I initially acquired my real estate-salesperson license in 2001 and worked full time in real estate sales until it was time to step up and get my real estate-brokers license in 2011. Other designations include ePro (online marketing and all things social media), SFR (Short sale and Foreclose Resource), and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist). In addition, I am 1 of only 2 persons to hold a CGP designation in construction on Kauai (Certified Green Professional).

My focus is on great customer service by working closely with a few clients at a time with their individual needs having utmost importance. I serve buyers and sellers as well as those in need of a property manager. I specialize primarily in residential sales but love all things related; land, condos, short and long term property management, etc. My clients often become friends after our transaction, if they weren’t already, and come back time and again for advice or representation. I live and promote the Kauai lifestyle with historical interest, cultural sensitivity, and rural preservation as my guide. Serving our community with integrity and Aloha.
